there is no manipulation - I wish I had a quid for every time I've read that on HC.
the two obvious reasons why the SP hardly moved are the Xmas break and the fact WCN can do no work during winter months at their Au-Cu site. So the market perception is no hurry..... WCN have already announced they have found what they were looking for and not until they start a new drilling campaign will the market notice the stock. No manipulation.
