I have been watching here as a holder for some time in both mdi and icg.
Given the amount of drilling by icg with no real discovery to get excited about and expecting an update from mdi that was dragging on,
I began to read between the lines.
It is always difficult to call this early but I was lucky enough to start selling before the real negativity set in.
Upon the ann yesterday morning I sold the last of my mdi.
One can make the call right or wrong but either way we face the consequences.
If they do find the goods, I miss out.
My logic was that each hole costs around $400/m for DD and these holes need to be around 800m or so.
I think mdi had $4.9m at last count but the cost for the exploration will blow the budget pretty rapidly.
I do trust that Brad will be very astute with the spending but there could be a lot of cost to find anything and is that anything economic?
I thought so but are a little risk averse for now.
I will be watching and could buy back in upon any suggestion of a real discovery.
