They have been producing gold for the last six through a sales agreement, just not making much money out of it.

It's great to see that this announcements shows they've been spending plenty of money on drilling. This informs me that they're actually trying to prove up resources, rather than something stupid.

17km of res def drilling is nothing to sneeze at, and the map drawn by Tommonorth shows that the holes are well spread out in a respectable grid designed to actually find resources.
