PLS banked $95m on their leftovers lithium that sold at auction with the settled price 2% less than its record breaking spot price of last month and got hammered to the tune of 12% today. Never seen a sell off like it with no fundamental basis ever. The Fed rate rise was expected, China opening up is positive but could cause more outbreaks but they will learn to live with it now and just like the rest of western world realise it’s not as bad as it once was. Recession fears could impact sales of new cars but nothing is clear about how deep or shallow, there might not even be a recession.
