Oroya gets a guernsey this week on the strength of the start to its copper hunt near Orbost in eastern Victoria. First up is the Granite Creek porphyry copper target, which sits on a large fault system between two old copper-gold workings. It will be followed up by the drilling of the Sunday Creek prospect where drilling in the 1960s and 70s by US group Pickands Mather did return porphyry copper mineralisation.
Oroya last traded at 0.4c a share for a market cap of less than $10 million. No need to state the obvious there -- if it hits something, that is.
