Why on earth would management want to release a drill result before completing the hole?

Let's say they have begun to intercept high grade copper... if they announce that the SP goes wild but what if it is only a few metres? Then a whole bunch of people will have bought in under false assumptions.

On the other hand what if it is 100's of metres... the only way to know for sure is when the drilling has completed.

This is only the first hole.. what if the targeting is a bit off and the drill skirts the sides and misses the main body? What if there is nothing down there? All kinds of unknowns. It is inconceivable that a responsible management would announce prematurely.
