You are probably spot on with the pipeline, seems to be built to move Motembo crude or other historic discoveries. It would be interesting too see what the initial reserves were for Motembo compared to total recoverable. Probably explains the pipeline being abandoned.

A basic pipeline can take 20-50k bopd, if it’s a higher capacity one maybe +100k bopd. I do think some wildcat wells going forward are needed as it’s a province type scenario. So if we can assume a 1-3 year build for a new pipeline, gives us enough time to book reserves and prove up a few more discoveries. The big assumption will be that the pipeline is Cupet property and refurb/rebuild will be at their cost. Depends on the terms of the PSC and access to infrastructure agreements. Any trucking will likely be through Cupet as they have a fleet of trucks.
