Zapato-1 is estimated to take about 55 days to reach its target depth, targeting a single formation near the shallower Motembo oil field (which has historically produced a high-quality light oil).
However, there is a slight chance they may find oil higher up in the well like they did with Alameda-1 but it is not expected.
