I've got no idea about weather in the LFB, but this has been a strange winter in the Tasman Sea / Southern Ocean. There's been no polar lows all winter, but numerous east coast lows. Those ECLs bring a lot of rain to Sydney and so it would seem, the LFB. Just been bad luck compounding for KAU with variables out of their hands.
Fingers crossed you're right with that forecast @BobbyMorane and that drill fires up ASAP.
