I do, I fly to Orange, Bathurst and Parkes often. Orange is 3,100' above MSL. This means day time temps this time of year, rarely get above 10c. Currently at 2pm today it's 3c. So, you can imagine how much longer the ground needs to dry out. If there has been a large dump and there has been over the previous week, then evaporation will take much longer. The next 7 days should see a dry spell, with 15 kt southerly's.. On the flip side, great for the farmers..!
