This country has been in drought for 3 years and has changed dramatically with rain. I was recently working only a hundred kilometres the way the crow flies from this area - we hadn't made a rut with a vehicle in years and got 7 vehicles buried in a fortnight only a couple of months ago. Not familiar with this particular site...
When it comes to drillers, if they say it's too wet on the first day, you probably don't want to believe them. The second and third, you can mostly take their word. If it's been four or more days and they're saying it's too wet.... you know sure as shit it is.
They're outdoor types. They don't like being locked up inside.
