Peak Minerals Ltd. is a well-funded copper explorer with a large land position in the Murchison and Kimberley Regions. The company is currently seeking Project Geologist and Senior Project Geologists.

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, this is an opportunity to take ownership and add value to a number of exciting projects in Western Australia. Flexible work hours within our head office in Subiaco and short campaign exploration work.

Responsibilities

• Compilation of company and government datasets.
• Management of expenditure commitments for our tenements and JV partners.
• Field mapping of current and generated exploration targets.
• Present and propose exploration programs with reasoned geological merit.
• Opportunity to work up and take ownership of individual projects.
• Design and management of drilling programs, with a good understanding of different drilling techniques.
• Writing of technical reports for exploration undertaken.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience, predominantly in exploration.
• Bachelor Degree majoring in geology.
• Problem Solving abilities.
• Previous use of mapping software and 3D modelling software.
• Experience on drill rigs with consideration of safety and sampling techniques.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
• Driver’s license.
• Unrestricted working rights in Australia.
