While I'm confident that KOTH will be the key to future production for Red, IMO there are a number of planks that need to be put in place before this raft is going to float successfully. Firstly we are going to need to have ore volume with reasonable grade. We know that this is "stockwork" ore. Not sure of the nature of this but my research says its a network of fine high grade veins with a lot of low grade ore in between. Secondly the ore sorter trials have to be a success. Recent results seem to suggest that they can condense much of the gold, 90%, into half the volume. The 90% gold goes to Darlot. the rest goes to the leach heap. Which brings in the third plank, the heap leach project. This is looking good with more results to come.
Considering that management have been working on all of these planks since day one of purchasing KOTH IMO they have had suspicions of the nature of this ore body all along.
