Amigo, in previous announcements GRL gave the JORC of gold for Lewis Ponds at 400,000 oz (plus other metal credits). That means the inground value of gold alone is roughly 400,000 x A$2,500 = A$1,000 million. And GRL will add to that JORC by including 1) results of drilling earlier this year plus 2) the mineralistion found in the recent re-examination of old cores plus 3) the results for the Quarry Lode. Earlier this year I rang the old CEO, David Greenwood, to ask about the type of mineralisation at Lewis Ponds. He said that Lewis Ponds is looking like a profitable underground mine from near-surface to depth, then to drill deeper to follow the veins to a source. The metallurgy has shown that a farily straighforward process recovers the gold and other metals. The Quarry Lode was a major discovery this year. Let's hope the drilling program substantially increases its strike near surface. Perhaps if things go well, it could develop into the lode for start-up mining? (Note: GRL owns the property where Lewis Ponds is located, so that eliminates problems of negotiation with the landowner.) Looking good for shareholders, IMO.
