A while back somebody posted on here that Peter Williams had worked on 3 different mine sights in Queensland as a Metallurgist. I would say while doing this he became mates with the current GM who was in the same place/s ? When DGR advertised for CEO in its fledgling company ANW. PW with his banking experience and engineer qualifications applied and got the job. 12 months ago for some reason ANW decided they needed a General Manager and PW immediately thought of his old mate, with 40 years experience working in the mining industry, was qualified enough to be promoted to GM status and gave him the job. Maybe it was even PW's idea to create the GM job to give his mate a well paid job into retirement ?
So for the last 12 months the GM has been hanging about with Jemrok learning the ropes of managing and mining, building tailings dams etc. so he would be qualified/experienced enough to take on Taronga ?
An inexperienced CEO and GM.
