Drilling Program Update
Blue Energy Limited (ASX: BUL) advises that the Orphan 1 CSG core well in ATP896P reached a total depth of 563 metres. Wireline logs have been acquired in the well, and permeability tests have been conducted. The well has been plugged and abandoned as per plan and the rig has now moved to Gone 1 in the southern part of ATP896P.
Gone 1 spudded 14 September and is currently at a depth of 85 metres and running casing. The well is programmed to be drilled to a total depth of approximately 300 metres and is designed to test the potential of the Juandah and Taroom Coal seams of the Walloon Coal Measures in the southern part of the permit. The well is located approximately 45km south-east of Arrow Energy’s Tipton West CSG Field.
