Regolith will move with erosion, slopes and weathering processes. It’s a natural process depending on the location, slope and weather process. Rivers and creeks are a great place to start with field trips as they naturally expose some deeper rocks and do connect with the water table if the creek/river flows 24/7 and hence are valuable for geochemistry samples.
I’m hoping the vein swarm is a precursor to a very large hydrothermal system deeper. Hopefully the geophysics can give us clues to the potential with drilling always needed to validate.
