Before everyone gets too carried away with the timing of a resource upgrade (or not) at Carlow Castle - read the announcement. They have the existing Carlow Castle area drilled to a 50m pattern and there is nothing preventing them from calculating a resource on that, its already drilled, just waiting on last batch of assays from the RC driling and then an updated resource block model.

This release is talking about using RAB drilling to test the numerous SAM anomalies along strike to the east and west from the existing Carlow Castle drilled area. RAB drilling is the early stages fast exploration evaluation tool for testing the SAM geophysical anomalies and any decent hits in this RAB drilling will open up new areas for detailed RC resource drilling in the future (if the RAB results justify or are encouraging enough) for 2019, as indeed Bramwells comments emphasize.

The RAB drilling is essentially exploration of SAM geophysical and geological along stike from the existing Carlow Castle resource. There is no reason why they can't do a resource calculation on the existing detailed drilled area of Carlow Castle and announce it to the market. They are drilling to the limits of the native title clearance zone before they go back to additional native title clearances in the future, that says they have a high degree of confidence in that the SAM geophysical target, when tested by the early stages RAB drilling, will turn up additional areas of mineralization that will need further drilling.

Nowhere in that release does it say that ARV are going to stop all work on a Carlow Castle resource estimation/calculation of the area already drilled just because they are doing some RAB exploration drilling along stike.
