Triued??? They found gas and it was too big for the test equipment they had through a half inch choke. They have left rig on site for further developments and probably run downhole seismic etc.
Better than dry holes and smart to hold rig on site rather than have moving costs to then have to come back later.
My novice guess is that they will obviously target finding the edge of the reservoir closest to existing pipeline or easiest access to future pipeline so it is possible to bring online at lowest cost. Will I suspect finish the well as a production well now anyway depending on depth and cost of rig move to do on edge of discovery.
