I wondered the same thing myself, so I went back and looked at Alara Resources ASX announcements for 2012 and strangely enough they announce the drilling program in Feb 2012 then reference the progress during their quarterly reports then mysteriously on 22nd of October announce nothing to see here after 5,000m of drilling and they have elected not to pay the $1 million extension for the next 12 months on the lease. They also said they were going to concentrate on their Middle Eastern assets. Then subsequently on the 23rd of October the next day they announce a capital raising for $7.85 million to finance their Middle Eastern operations. The kicker is that all the time that Alara supposedly drilled $5,000m El Quillay they never announced any assay results. If any one can tell me any different please let me know. Something doesn’t add up here, how a company can drill or would drill $5,000m and just say it didn’t meet expectations without justification of poor results.‍♂️
