Thanks @Rozting, got me to dig a bit deeper.

When Alara acquired El Quillay in Aug 2010, it came with a hefty price tag. The expectations were very high. About 250,000 tonnes of copper.

The price tag was US$10m payable over a period of 3 years.

Alara then purchased a copper project in Oman.


As Alara was all over the place, I wanted to look at management and found it interesting that they actually do not have a Geo!

We have in total 105 years of mining experience between the Directors. So we are talking a different game altogether.

What excites me most is the latest drilling has found copper at near surface level.

Will keep doing more research as more I do, more convinced I am.
