They ended up drilling about 5,000m before relinquishing. Key takeaways for me are they had other projects on the go at that time and they were required to make some pretty substantial payments at El Quillay to retain the option/earn-in. Copper environment completely different now and if they were hitting around the same grades that CPO are currently reporting and had the option now then likely they'd still be holding it! Don't forget CPO has such a good earn-in agreement compared to Alara back then.
