Although they at first seem to be spectacular intercepts (grade and thickness wise) these are actually quite modest step-outs, and in some cases almost infill drill holes from the earlier Perilya drilling.

Have a look at the cross sections and note they are only 20m wide clipping cross sections otherwise, they become too "busy" or messy) - you can see that there is an extensive amount of drilling already with many lenses already closed off by drilling on section or closed off by holes just off-section, and these holes are filling in the "gaps" in the drill coverage. Not taking anything away from Vero and the Mt Oxide project but people need to the the research on why this has stayed in the ground so far and not been developed/mined since the early 1990s shallow open pit.

The encouraging news is that this system looks like it has a lot of depth and a lot of sulfide minerals in the system between the Mt Oxide Chert and the Torpedo Creek Quartzite so this could run quite deep, possibly beyond the reach of an open pit which could mean underground mining = longer mine life but higher capital and operating costs.

I'm still holding a small amount even though the market is ignoring any copper discoveries at the moment, but this could be a long slog. I'm guessing the TNC geologists want to do an updated JORC-compliant resource calculation in the future and will want to familiarise themselves with the Mt Oxide geology so some of this "infilly" drilling makes a bit of sense in that context.

I still want to see them do some deeper step-out holes to the south, I reckon it could still be open down plunge there.
