Taking a look at the overhead view of the drill pad location, its interesting to note that the black wagon-wheel locator ( which I beleive denoted the old near surface mine workings) is due north by around 100 metres from the drill pad. Yet they drilled all holes in a southerly direction, which begs the question why was no hole drilled in a northerly direction ( ie, at azimuth 360 degrees) to test for extension of the deposit beleive the old workings. Just seems a bit odd to me to not do that especialy as these 5 holes were reconaissance holes to get some idea of the orientation of the deposit, so right now we have no idea what lies to the north beneath the old surface workings ( which must have been exhibiting decent copper quantities to make it worthwhile surface excavating by local tribes).
