I think it was Anglo Australian that did the preliminary drill at Newleyine in 1978, and they found Ni/Cu at similar % to that at Julimar but never assayed for PGEs.
MAN has since confirmed coincident Cu/Ni/PGEs in surface rocks at Newleyine...
Washington Resources never tested any of their PGE targets, but when they could pick the eyes out of the region'a PGE targets, look at the four tenements they chose:
Bindibindi (now LTR)
Yarawindah (now CZI/spun out to CPN)
Ashworth (now DEV)
and.....Newleyine (now MAN).
All IMO, DYOR, but that is all very intriguing to me.
