One needs, IMO, to keep a perspective on the situation.There already is a resource at Quicksilver, that will definitely be upgraded with the newer results and with the newer mechanisms to extract concentrate. At the current price of nickel, the deposit as is, will no doubt be commercial, IMO. NICKEL price is going to go UP.


Yes I agree, Bluebird. That's the real story - the nickel-cobalt Resource at Quicksilver.

Anything else is actually a bit of a distraction in my view ...and if viable, still mere icing on the cake.

From what I can make out, the Stage 3 Metallurgical Testwork is progressing well, and such unexpected googlies as have presented (e.g., last month's Highest Ever Nickel Grades at Quicksilver) have only been advantageous to the Project.

Now with today's announcement of the drill programme to test the potential of disseminated nickel sulphides within the primary zone beneath the nickel-cobalt oxide Resource - everything that is the existing Quicksilver Project - it's as if we're circling back to November 2017 when the discovery of our extensive Ni-Co rich mineralised system was first announced.

Then, the Project was heralded as "the first significant nickel discovery in the South West Mineral Field of WA", "a new discovery in a new terrane", "pioneering the field for additional discoveries".


Well, here we are again, dusting off the drill-bit, and headin' deeper.

As Damon said in announcing the programme:

It’s exciting to commence this campaign on the back of the previous excellent drill results and test the primary potential underneath the oxide. The possibility of disseminated nickel sulphides could increase the longevity of Quicksilver and provide significant scaling opportunities.
