diamond drilling in competent ground should average 40 - 60m per shift. did it say they are working 2 shifts (ds/ns)? if yes then double the daily production rate. even at a single shift drilling a ~500m deep hole should take 10 days to 2 weeks.
as seth has said, visuals are all that is needed here, unlike li brines that are invisible and need assaying.
