Here's the latest satellite images of Black Cat. I've interpreted what I've seen as best as I can, and it looks the drill crew has made good progress.

Here's a marked up Google Earth image with the drill hole locations from
report 10-08-2023 superimposed. The status of the proposed/completed holes is shown as follows:
- Red - No drill pads or drill holes yet
- Orange - Drill pads only
- Green - Drill Holes (current campaign)
- Yellow - Drill Holes from previous gold exploration (13-07-2021)
- Blue - Drill holes from recent Alchemy (ALY) drilling (13-06-2023)
If we have 7,000 m of drilling and 76 holes, that means the average hole depth is about 90 m. Assuming my interpretation of the images is correct, and we have 12 holes drilled, that means the crews have been drilling for about 6 days (
200 m per day for RC drilling). Also, there were 2 workings that appeared to be drilled holes that appeared on the 5-8-2023. I'd say we've been drilling since 4-8-2023.
Based on the assumption that 1,200 m has been drilled already, that leaves 5,800 m left to drill. At 200 m per day, that means there are 29 drilling days left. Multiply by 1.2 to cover delays and time off, and we should be finished drilling in 35 calendar days, or 7 weeks. So it looks like we'll be on time for a completed drilling campaign by the end of September.
We could see some results in September, and all results from this campaign should be in by mid November. So far, so good. Let's hope the results are stellar.
