That's just trading. Shorting is something else all together.Shorting is borrowing shares, selling them than buying and returning those shares at a lower price, keeping the difference.
Shorting a stock like this would be very hard, primarily due to shares being made available too short in the first place. You'd need to go through a trading desk of an investment house or the like. As much as penny stock gurus like to scream that shooters are at work, its much more likely that people are just taking profits, or, playing the trade game. Which is perfectly fine.
