@Dazedandconfused ... The only people trying to twist facts into the positive, are holders all the while the SP stays down near yearly lows.
@Dazedandconfused .... From your first post on the topic today ".... however, despite already knowing they had a massive deposit on their hands it took 166 drill holes before they hit a 1 metre intercept outside of the existing discovery and it was drill hole 202 which discovered a 40 metre intercept of massive sulphides."
Your post tried to make out there were lots of duds between the first holes into the ovoid and hole 166. The reality was they drilled lots of successful holes into the ovoid, the share price continued to climb and it took time (a few months) of drilling outside the ovoid to find more Ni. I just linked to the timeline, that clearly shows there were lots more holes successfully drilled into the ovoid!!
There was no lack of success, then drilling outside the ovoid only took a few months to discover more!! Voisey's Bay and Mt Alexander are cheese and chalk apart!!
The point being that in 5.5 years and over 390 drill holes, SGQ have not found anything of significance. You would think with all the tools of targeting they have used over the years, EM anomalies, FTEM, MTEM, DHEM, gravity surveys, magnetic surveys, MT surveys, seismic surveys etc, that if there was a large target worth mining, they would have at least found the target!!
But no, there are NO large targets, just a lot of small EM conductors spread out all over the place, that have proved to be small accumulations of Ni/Cu..
The FIRST target at both Voisey's bay and Nova turned out to be large accumulations of Ni/Cu, and those stocks went gangbusters.
To even try and make out that this is similar to either is being disingenuous. At Voisey's bay they took a few months to find the SECOND large accumulation of Ni/Cu, not years of finding nothing much like here.
The odds of not finding anything worthwhile go up, when you do lots of drilling and geophysics over years and don't find anything in a given area, something a lot of punters here don't want to understand.
390+ holes, massive amounts of geophysics, and nothing much is WHY the SP is down at yearly lows, totally the opposite to the drilling at Voisey's Bay...
