Regarding the Maronan drilling, its not like RDM have any choice in the matter, they have talked about JV partners at Maronan for years but have been unable/unwilling to disclose who they are or come to an agreement about any JV partner at Maronan.

Its been crickets and tumbleweeds on the data room and news front from Maronan until now.

The more likely explanation is that they are drilling at the Great Southern conductors because the geophysics is complete, and maybe they are emboldened by nearby success near Eloise from the MEP/OZL JV and they need to do something to draw attention to the potential of the ground around Maronan (and Maronan itself). I am sure they would love a JV partner to come in and spend some money drilling around Maronan, but for whatever reason, they can't seem to generate enough interest in Maronan from elsewhere in the industry. Maybe a big stinking high grade intersection of high grade copper/gold sulphides might awaken some of the dozy/slumbering parts of the market and industry.

We shall see soon because in the unlikely event that these holes do hit something significant it should be a visual style of orebody, and will need to be reported to the market if its materialy significant.
