You forget that Castro was aligned to Russia.
Castro's are gone Cuba is aligned now to pulling its people out of poverty. Energy poverty being a big part of the problem.
They live in a world where Ukraine and Russia are distant concerns. South America, North America and goings on in their hemisphere of the world are far more important.
