I feel pretty confident there won't be any war breaking out in the next few weeks.
Putin is no dummy - there's very little value to him if his movements create an all out war - which is also why he didn't do anything controversial while Trump was in power, but was more than willing to do so under George Bush, Obama and now bIden. Putin will lose support politically within Russia if a large war breaks out, and he'll also have the financial problems associated with trying to finance a war against Nato etc.
He's already been given a huge amount of land for free in Eastern Ukraine and he's been given it without having to suffer a single casualty or fire a single missile.
Sounds like a pretty good deal to me.
