Looking at Ensign 965 specs from the web it only has 5000psi BOP...

    Looking at Ensign 965 specs from the web it only has 5000psi BOP stack... which i find odd, 1500HP rigs nearly always have 10000psi stacks.

    Also odd that Santos would even start to drill a well to these depths with a 5k stack. Even a normally pressured gas well at these depths would be pushing 5K surface equipment to its limits. Especially if 8000 seen on offsets that someone mentioned is correct.
