    Hi ozblue, The problem as I understand it is that WSA only processes ore for ni/cu concentrate. Similarly BHP process ore limited to production of ni/cu concentrate (and maybe cobalt for WSA and BHP). The trick for SGQ is to capture the PGE credits which when added to Cobalt and cu credits will deliver close to twice the ni price. Thats what makes the shallow mining option attractive.

    It maybe that SGQ builds a small suitable concentrator or engages a contractor with pop up concentrator capability....This option has been canvased by others on the SGQ threads.

    Whatever the solution, it seems that Glencore's specialist capability for PGE extraction be part of the flow process that they will provide advice on.

    We all eagerly await the announcement of the solution.
