I agree with most of your comments - I hold stocks that have promise on both ASX -AIM and LSE that are lauded by investors but don't show cross sections in their announcements. From right here in Australia to darkest Africa -- from my perspective cross sections are vital information.
I know of maybe fifty potential gold mines that still sit there with good near surface gold pods that a small operator could successfully 'cookie jar' mine but if they are tied up in a listed company odds are they will stay locked up until they find their 'million oz ' to impress the market.
I suspect SGQ will only talk about mining the disparate high grade nickel pods but I also suspect they are economically mineable.
I think we need management changes - a new set of practical hands on eyes -existing management irrespective of their credibility or otherwise are tired of the chase. There's a fair chance a major discovery - we need a new broom.
