Hi Stumpy, Regarding the current timing of drilling Odin-1 in 2021, and the scheduled timing of Odin first gas in 2029 (as per VEN's plateau production forecast), if Odin is a commercial discovery in 2021, the field may be quarantined for a few years as a low-side side plan in the event (hopefully unlikely) that production from Vali declines quicker than forecast and Vali is unable to meet gas sales contracts. In a Vali low-side outcome, Odin could be brought on line quickly to fill the gas supply shortfall rather than drilling additional wells at Vali to mitigate this shortfall, giving the reservoir engineers and earth scientists time figure out what to do with Vali.
Now, if Odin is a commercial discovery, and Vali produces as per the planned forecast, the JVP still have the option to accelerate Odin development as per VEN's accelerated production forecast below.
