Thanks Stumpy, Agreed, since capital is oh so tight. Drilling and knowing the outcome at Odin-1 soon does provide the JVP with options. If Odin is a commercial discovery and they decide to accelerate production from Odin to 2022, 1 year after Vali comes on line, the JVP can then make the FEED decision on increasing pipeline size and related facilities for increased gas through put from two fields. And perhaps negotiate a better contract deal. But if Vali production disappoints, they still have Odin a low-side mitigation plan when they need to gas.
I reckon if Odin delivers the goods, we'll see the accelerated production forecast scenario where Odin is brought on line in 2022 needing a bigger pipeline!!! I might run the cashflow curve on the accelerated production forecast.
