So liner stuck, finally pulled. Then wiper trip to drill ahead..
Seems odd. Wiper trip then try run the liner again surely?
1. If they don't need it why were they trying to run it to begin with?
2. If hole conditions arent good enough to get the liner to bottom, maybe there is a formation that needs to be cased off before drilling ahead... now in poor hole conditions are they going to be able to a) drill more hole then b) log that hole then c) presumably still have to case off at least some of it? before flow testing.
Maybe there's some pertinent info missing, i cant find a well schematic but at face value seems like an odd decision. Glad santos are paying.
