Below are the pre-drill Kinta-1 depth structure maps interpreted by Santos and included in the Kinta-1 post-drill Well Completion Report which also shows the Vali structure and Kappa Gas Field which has produced 2.9BCF of gas from 1 well. At the Patchawarra level, it is difficult to close off the Vali Field from Kinta (see white line on left hand map). If the JV elect to take up the 3rd well option after Odin-1 (if Odin is a discovery), my thinking is a twin well to Kinta-1 that is subsequently fracture stimulated aka. Vali-1, would be a good bet.



Key for me in todays ASX operations announcement is the bit snipped below.... Vali-2 is about 1.5kms east of Vali-1, so a healthy step-out. A successful logging and frac. programme should translate into an incremental reserves booking over and above what has already been certified by Vali-1.
