Often drill holes penetrate a deposit on an angle and may return a larger intersection by length but if drilled at say 90 degrees to the way its lying what is the width (ie the true width)
So for example a hole drilled at 45 degrees to the way the deposit is lying may return intersections of 50m but the "true with may only be 30m" ...
