what u say is correct, on THIS drill campaign the price is set by per metre.
but, and here is a different way to look at....what will the costs be to develop the whole field, if gas is found, if all the rest of the drilling runs into hard rock. If this is the first hole, and it seems it may have struck problems, then what will be the next hundred holes be like.
I don't know, all I am saying is u need to consider everything......
