They're dealing with a very large area and in my opinion, it makes sense to test all prospects before narrowing the focus down. I'd hate to see them zoom in on the first attractive prospect, only to later find that they'd missed the monster a few kilometres down the road

There's also a requirement for expenditure on each block which they'll have to meet, or risk forfeiting the exploration licence. Once tested, they can decide if they want to hang onto less prospective blocks.

Balancing these things is both a challenge and an enormous opportunity for a junior explorer like MHC.
