The ********* article highlights the massive potential of the sleep apnoea trial.

The CPAP machine doesn’t work that well for a lot of people with sleep apnoea. Any company that has a pill to reduce/solve Sleep Apnoea will seriously make a lot of money.

I’m thinking Resmed type of success because a pill for Sleep apnoea would surely dominate the market place. Resmed makes the Airsense CPAP and has a market cap of $25B dollars. There’s a lot to achieve but that’s the sort of success a company can have in the sleep apnoea market if they get it right.

Speaking with *********, Impression CEO Mr Joel Latham, “the CPAP device is currently the best defence against sleep apnoea, however, about half of those who use the CPAP device end up discarding its use after only a short period of time because its very uncomfortable and cumbersome. We’re conducting the trial to investigate the use of a simple soft capsule taken before bed to ameliorate the debilitating consequences of this disorder”.
