CPAP machines are expensive can range into the thousands of dollars plus mask can cost a few hundred so cost of set can deter a large % of ppl to go undiagnosed/untreated. The path Ihl is taking makes sense as the treatment I’d imagine would help to relax the muscle around the nasal passage making it easier for air to pass through which reduce breathing issue. At some stage when all the legislation passes the next step would be to have this medication approved and placed on the PBS which will then help all Australians suffering from this chronic health issue.
