thank you for your honest reply. I can understand why someone in your situation would select not to activate DRP. Like you said everyone has their own circumstances. I, myself am 31 this year with almost no experience in investing. I've only had 2 years worth of investing under my belt, and I have realised profits in both years (although very small profits).
I suppose in my situation, I would want to accumulated enough wealth to live off from. Which is why I selected to DRP ( living with my parents and being incredibly cheap also helps with my decision). Only time will tell whether I will have the courage to persist in investing when I'm 70. I have still yet to face a financial crisis and seeing my wealth at 50%. But I really want my own house and I can't see that happen with my 9 to 5 job.
