If I was running a company that has been researching for 15 years and is 18 months away from finding out if they are going to earn a minimum 1b p.a and they already have the money in company coffers to get there I would be inclined to see it through. Current valuation implies 5% chance of success and in less than 4 months they should have at least least 50% confidence (organoid model using cells from patients that are likely to be the same for the P1 human trials). Thats 45c if the share price were to match the probability of 50% of 1b p.a. Actually it’s more cause the 1b is Prob USD and is apparently conservative if other treatments costs are considered.
so what is greedy? 15c or 30c or 45c which is only half the potential revenue. Then there are 2 more eye programs, a brain, liver and oncology program coming behind this one.
if anyone is in this for a quick takeover bid I’d sell now. Mr Tribe and his merry band of backers just made sure this will go the distance and NOT be taken over (well not cheaply anyway).
you may have gathered from the tone of my writing that I have bought again - I am still a relative novice and I hope i don’t ruin it for you all but I am aiming for 45c.
