"The possible election of a Rudd Labour Government later this year will significantly tilt the energy landscape in favour of coal seam gas for power generation. We estimate that Rudd’s commitment will increase coal seam gas demand by at least 250 Pj – over and above existing contracted growth – over the next 13 years. The shareholder value creation from this change in fuel sources is worth approximately $8 billion."
