Update in relation to takeover bid for Metallica Minerals Limited
Diatreme Resources Limited (ASX: DRX) (DRX or Diatreme) refers to its announcement on 16 February 2024 in relation to its
conditional intention to make a takeover bid for all of the ordinary shares in Metallica Minerals Limited (ASX: MLM) (MLM or
Metallica).
Diatreme has received correspondence from Metallica alleging a breach of an agreement between Diatreme and Metallica if the
proposed takeover bid were to proceed without the consent of Metallica. Diatreme has written to Metallica and urgently
requested, to the extent it is required, the consent that Metallica alleges is necessary for Diatreme to proceed with the proposed
takeover bid. Diatreme is considering this correspondence more fully and the allegations by Metallica and will make a further
announcement to the market once it is able to do so.
