This answers timbowls' question. Reduction of inventory at discount would account for 12% drop in profits.
I'd failed to keep track of this one for the last 3/4 months, otherwise I would've seen the warning signs of one insider/ non-exec director dumping mega millions quietly off- market end of last year. Clearly knew what lay ahead. Does that come under Insider trading or just coincidence?
Having lost a chunk of my capital imo best to sit on it and let it recover. Nasty rate rise expected again but then Albo's been squeaking about getting rid of the Reserve Bank Gov before he plunges us into Recession. Only then will retail recover.
